Veronica is a Grade 12 student at York House School who can always be found hovering over her growing algae at her home-based lab, streaming chess online, and reading about latest energy technology. Outside of research and chess, she loves exploring local cafes with her friends, listening to music, and walking her dog, Snoopy. From the moment she first heard about InteGIRLS, she knew she wanted to share its mission with the people of her community. She cannot wait to work with others to create new opportunities for a more equitable world!!

As a Grade 12 Student, Helena is a dedicated member of her York House School Community. When she is not at her dance studio, you can find Helena outdoors, going for a run or hiking with her family. Helena has always had an aptitude for all things math and science and finds the most joy in doing dissections in biology (gross, she knows!). Looking forward to connecting with all her fellow math enthusiasts, Helena is excited to lead the Vancouver chapter of InteGIRLS, aspiring to foster a love for STEM in an inclusive community!

Gladys is a Grade 12 student at McMath Secondary School. When she is not at school, you can find Gladys at her dance studio, going on a nice walk, or taking a nap! She loves travelling and exploring new places and enjoys seeing what different cities have to offer! She has a keen interest for science, particularly, biology and chemistry. She loves spending time in the lab experimenting and discovering! Gladys is excited to be apart of Vancouver InteGIRLS and bring STEM to more girls in her community!
